Living within worlds of preception

Posted on Aug 25th, 2007 by LucidDream : Living flame, Seeker of ones self LucidDream
We do it all of the time. Jump between worlds. Sometimes we do it simply by daydreaming, sometimes by watching television, sometimes when we write poems or letters, and sometimes when we listen to songs or draw. I often play computer or video games to be able to live in diffrent worlds and live diffrent lives. In this moment when I'm writing this. I newly finishid living my life as a "god" within the game "Black and White 2". For me, it let me become a figure of pure importance. Everything I did had influense amongst others, wether it was good/nice or evil/bad. It came to mind, that it actually let me live another kind of life. Though only for a brief moment, as I wished it to be. Then when I got tierd of that "life", I just quited and continued with my "real" life. When I draw, I also get into other worlds. In these worlds I get my insperation for my drawings. My imagination creates temporary worlds for me which I can reflect upon. As if I reflected upon diffrent lives I have lived. All in a maner of preception. Cause isn't it true that it doesn't really matter how long you have lived your life. But how much to the extent of fullness you have lived it. Did you live that "life" with the intention of being a good or bad person, creature, god, being, entity? Do these lives reflect on us with karma? We have indeed the power and tools to live as much as we want in pure preception. But bare in mind that these are also the borders of which we can become insane and delussional. Personally I do not yet know where these borders are and if I have crossed them on any ocassion. My question to you is this: Which of the many diffrent worlds and lives of preception do you prefer to experince/live?
